Effects of 99mTc on the electrochemical properties of thiamazole in vitro

Thiamazole inhibits the thyroid hormone synthesis and does not inactivate existing thyroxine triiodothyronine that circulate in blood. In this paper electrochemical behavior was monitored by cyclic voltammetry on glassy carbon (GC) electrode absence presence of sodium pertechnetate (99mTc). The influence different concentrations without radiopharmaceutical 99mTc, effect number scan cycles, 99mTc activity appearance voltammograms were examined. results show there is an observed increase reduction peak current with concentration. It found concentration tested drug had a significant its redox characteristics. obtained application exhibits inhibitory properties used treatment gland disease.
